At Shed City all our buildings are fully treated in a timber preserve at manufacture. We also offer the option of having your building protected in a Solvent based treatment or manufactured with a Pressure Treated timber. See Protecting Your Building.
If waterproofed (solvent treated) your building will be Golden Brown in colour, unless Pressure Treated which is a dark matt green colour. For more information see Protecting Your Building.

Yes, you can paint the building in a colour of your choice providing you use a quality solvent based product, a range of colours in 5L tins are available from Shed City.
A building needs a complete, level and solid base. The base must be at least the size of the building which you order and be completely slabbed or concreted. there must also be a minimum 300mm (1ft) gap on all sides of the building. Shed City can supply and fit an Easy Base which will be installed on the same day as your building, please speak to our sales team for more information.
If you have an existing slab or concrete base which is solid but not level we can use timber bearers to raise and level the floor, this is a cost effective solution to providing a level surface without the need to lift and relay the slabs or concrete.
When you order your building you will be given an approximate lead time. Once your building is ready you will be contacted to arrange a mutually convenient delivery date; however, due to the nature of our work, specific times can not be given.
Delivery and installation days are Monday – Friday.
The Building will be supplied with a fixing kit, including instructions and all the necessary components.
When a building/product is ordered and is a ‘Delivery Only’ it will be delivered to the part of the property nearest to our delivery vehicle. In some cases if we are unable to carry out the Free Fitting an order will become delivery only. Please refer to T&C’s.
